A onde arranjo um parafuso? O meu vizinho tem, mas zanguei-me ontem com ele. Isto pode ser um problema quando se vive no meio do Atlântico na pequena ilha do Corvo, no extremo de Europa.
As pessoas que vem visitar são atraídas pela beleza natural da ilha, especialmente a cratera do vulcão inativo.
Porém quem costuma vir não permanece mais do que um dia. Com isso perde-se a possibilidade de tomar conhecimento com uma pequena comunidade em que as relações são bastante especiais e conhecer as bases históricas de piratas e a importância da Santa local.
Tudo isto oferece aos 440 habitantes desta pequena ilha a possibilidade de uma vida tranquila e coesa.

There is a fantastic volcanic crater that attracts some guests and an airport on the edge of the small town.
But those who come here hardly stay longer than a day. And miss stories of pirates, a saint and a very special community.

Woher bekomme ich eine Schraube? Mein Nachbar hat eine, doch mit dem hab' ich mich gestern gestritten. Das ist ein wichtiges Problem, wenn man isoliert mitten im Atlantik auf einer kleinen Insel am westlichsten Rand Europas lebt. Auf Corvo.
Es gibt einen fantastischen Vulkankrater, der manche Gäste lockt und einen Flughafen am Rande der kleinen Stadt.
Doch wer hierher kommt, bleibt kaum länger als einen Tag.
Und verpasst Geschichten von Piraten, einer Heiligen und einer ganz besonderen Gemeinschaft.
Die 440 Einwohner*innen halten auf dem Mini-Eiland zusammen - so gut es geht. Auch in diesen Zeiten, wo sich, selbst auf Corvo, letztlich immer irgendwo eine passende Schraube finden lässt...
